Epson 820 JUNK

I made the mistake of buying a used printer that was in "excellent shape" from ebay recently. This Epson 1270 arrived in terrible non working shape, the sad thing was that I had to pay return shipping to get my money back for the printer. Which I now have gotten back. Now you know from my last post that I have a photo printer, an Epson 820, but I have a strong want to print some wide format photos.
After careful examination of my finaces I realized the best move would just be to make due with what I have and forget about the wide format printing. So that works and I am enjoying using my 820, but I just went three days without printing anything on it. I tried to print last night but the cyan and yellow nozzles were completely clogged while all the other nozzles were completely clear. What was most frustrating of all was that the remaining ten percent of my black ink was used trying to clean the heads. After three head cleanings half of the cyan and yellow nozzles were working and I was out of black ink and could no longer clean the heads.

Peering under the cover with a flashlight it looks like some of the ink waste pads may be mangled up so maybe I have a fixer upper project.
